What to Expect During Your In-Home Treatment
Mobile massage therapy is designed to bring clinical care into a calm, private, and comfortable home environment.
Each appointment is paced intentionally — allowing time for assessment, focused treatment, and adjustments to your comfort throughout the session. Care is one-to-one, unhurried, and structured to support recovery, mobility, and ease.
Many patients choose in-home care to reduce travel strain, enjoy privacy, and experience treatment in a quieter setting. My goal is to make each visit feel smooth, professional, and supportive from start to finish.
Below are a few simple details that help ensure your session runs comfortably and safely.
Preparing for Your Mobile Appointment
Advance booking
Appointments are scheduled in advance to allow appropriate travel planning and clinical preparation.
Same-day or on-demand sessions are not available at this time.
Forms & consent
To support safe and effective care, all required intake and consent forms must be completed by the stated deadline before your appointment.
This allows time to review health history, plan treatment appropriately, and ensure your session begins smoothly.
Arrival & access
Please be present and reachable at the scheduled start time and able to provide access to your home or building as needed (including entry codes, concierge access, or parking instructions).
Treatment space
A clean, safe, and accessible area is needed for table setup and movement around the space.
• Approximately 10 ft x 10 ft of clear space is ideal
• Pets should be secured away from the treatment area
• Space should be available about 15 minutes before your scheduled start time
This helps ensure comfort, safety, and proper treatment positioning.
Parking & equipment access
Mobile care involves transporting professional equipment.
For safety, ground-level or easily accessible entry is required. Equipment cannot be lifted over fences, railings, snowbanks, or large obstacles.
Please ensure walkways and entrances are reasonably clear and safe at the time of your appointment.
Session timing (mobile context)
Travel and setup are built into mobile care scheduling.
Occasionally, timing may shift slightly due to access or logistics. Every effort is made to maintain full treatment time whenever possible.
Scope of care
Massage therapy involves assessment and treatment of soft tissue and movement tolerance.
It is not diagnostic, does not replace medical care, and does not provide medical clearance. Patients remain responsible for any required medical follow-up or physician guidance.
Optional tools & consent
Adjunct tools may be offered when appropriate and are always optional.
They are never required for treatment and can be declined at any time.
Privacy & recording
To maintain a safe and professional treatment environment, audio or video recording is not permitted without explicit consent prior to the session.
If you ever feel unsure about setup, comfort, or preparation, you’re always welcome to ask ahead of your appointment.
My goal is to make each visit feel easy, respectful, and supportive.
