CANCELLATIONS & BOOKING POLICIES

What is your cancellation policy?

To support smooth scheduling for all patients, appointments ask for at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

This allows time to adjust travel planning and offer openings to others who may be waiting.

When do forms need to be completed?

Intake and consent forms are requested at least 72 hours before your appointment.

This helps ensure your session can be prepared thoughtfully and safely in advance.

What if forms aren’t completed in time?

If required forms aren’t submitted by the 72-hour mark, the session may need to be postponed and is treated as a late cancellation, as the time can no longer be reassigned.

If you’re having trouble completing forms, you’re always welcome to reach out ahead of time.

What if the therapist arrives late or the session needs to end early?

Because this is a mobile service, travel and access can occasionally affect timing.

  • If delays occur outside your control, session time is adjusted where possible

  • If extension isn’t feasible, treatment continues within the remaining scheduled time

  • If delays are related to access, space readiness, or availability, fees remain unchanged

The goal is always to provide the best care possible within the time available.

What is considered a no-show?

A no-show occurs when:

  • The patient is unavailable at the scheduled time

  • The treatment space cannot be accessed

  • Contact cannot be made upon arrival

In these situations, the appointment is treated as a late cancellation.

A final note

Massage therapy is a regulated healthcare service in Ontario.

Care is guided by professional standards, patient safety, informed consent, and individual response to treatment.

These policies exist to support respectful scheduling, quality care, and fairness for everyone involved.
