Scope & Safety
What does “treatment-focused massage therapy” mean?
It refers to assessment and hands-on treatment of soft tissue and related structures within the scope of Registered Massage Therapy. It does not involve diagnosis, medical treatment, or guarantees of outcomes.
Do you diagnose conditions like TMJD or concussion?
No. Registered Massage Therapists do not diagnose medical conditions. Care is based on assessment findings, patient history, and consent.
Can I stop or change the treatment at any time?
Yes. You may ask to pause, adjust, or stop treatment at any point, for any reason.
What if my symptoms change before my appointment?
Please update your intake forms or inform the therapist before treatment begins. Treatment may be modified or deferred for safety.
