Do I need a referral to book?

  • No referral is needed to book massage therapy with a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario.

  • Some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so it’s always a good idea to check with your provider if you’re unsure.

Is massage therapy covered by insurance?

  • Many extended health benefit plans include massage therapy coverage.

  • Coverage varies by plan, and a receipt is provided after each session for easy submission to your insurer.

Do you provide receipts?

  • Yes — a Registered Massage Therapy receipt is issued after every appointment for insurance or personal records.

Do you offer direct billing?

  • At this time, direct billing is not offered.

  • Payment is collected at booking, and receipts are provided so you can submit directly to your insurance provider.

Do I need a medical note or clearance from my doctor?

  • Massage therapy does not usually require a medical referral.

However, certain medical conditions, recent surgeries, workplaces, or insurance plans may request clearance for reimbursement or return-to-care decisions. If this applies to you, it’s best to confirm with your physician, employer, or insurer before booking.
