Massage therapy support comfort and mobility, but it is not always the primary or appropriate form of care in every situation.

This service may not be suitable if:

  • A medical assessment or diagnosis is required first

  • You are seeking high-force or aggressive techniques

  • Immeidate or guaranteed results are expected

  • Care is being sought in place of medical treatment

Medical Considerations

In some situations, treatment may be postponed or require medical clearance, including:

  • Recent surgery or healing tissues

  • Active infections or skin conditions

  • Fractures or suspected fractures

  • Medical resetrictions on movement or manual therapy

Massage therapy does NOT replace medical care or override medical guidance.

Home Environment & Safety

Care is provided in-home:

  • A safe, accessible space must be available

  • Adequate room for equipment setup is required

  • Entry and access must be manageable for equipment transport

If these conditions cannot be met, treatment may not be able to proceed.
